About Rebel Tattoos

We started Rebel in August 2023 to build the studio we wished had existed when we wanted our first tattoo. One where the art is worth showing off, and the hygiene is worth checking.

Three years later, more than 2,500 people have walked out of Sector 67 wearing our work, and they are the reason all 235 of our Google reviews are five stars. Our artists keep coming home from conventions with trophies, most recently three at Inkbuddies 2025. And across three years of full-time tattooing and piercing, the number that we are proudest of has not moved: zero infections, zero complaints.

We work with internationally trained artists, and one rule settles every other decision here: whatever we use ends up inside your skin, so we buy the best there is.

What we do

• Tattoos. Colour realism, black and grey, devotional pieces, fine line, dotwork, lettering and cover-ups that turn a regret into the best thing you own. Every design drawn for the person wearing it.
• Piercings. From a first lobe to a fully curated ear: helix, conch, daith, nose, septum, belly, dermals, and advanced or intimate placements by an internationally qualified piercer who works to your anatomy, not to a template.
• Jewellery. A full range of implant-grade titanium, threadless and hypoallergenic, imported from Sweden, the UK and the US. Zircon, agate, opal, crystal and cubic zirconia stones, ornate stacks and clean classics. Safe enough for a fresh piercing, beautiful enough to be the reason you got it.
• Rebel Academy. Foundation and advanced tattoo courses, taught inside the working studio rather than a classroom, four students to a batch, with a paid internship for the best of every cohort.

What goes into your skin

• Quantum ink, imported from California. Vegan, kosher, cruelty free and EU REACH compliant, the strictest standard in the world for what may go into skin. It is why our colour still reads as colour years later.
• Kwadron and Cheyenne cartridges, opened in front of you. Run on Cheyenne and Utopian machines, whose steady stroke is the reason a line heals crisp instead of patchy.
• Saniderm and OG dermal wrap over every finished tattoo. Breathable, imported, and the single biggest thing standing between a good tattoo and a great healed one.
• Single-use surgical needles for every piercing. Never a gun, never costume metal.
• A sterile station built in front of you, autoclaved, then stripped and binned when you leave.

The consultation is free, and so are touch-ups on every Rebel piece. The exception is fingers and the backs of hands, which fade with sun, heat and daily washing whatever anyone does, so touch-ups there are charged.

The team

Internationally trained artists and piercers, full time, under one roof. Award winners at Inkbuddies 2025 in Small Realism and Best of the Day, and the same people who will sit with you at the consultation, draw your piece and tattoo it.

Rebel is woman-led and our team is mixed, and so are the people in our chairs. Whoever you are, whoever you love, you get the same welcome, the same price and the same care.

The founder

Richa founded Rebel in 2023, one of very few woman-led tattoo and piercing studios in Gurgaon. A psychology and business management graduate, she led HR teams for a decade, then ran operations for luxury spa and salon chains inside Gurgaon's five and seven star hotels, where hygiene, training and consistency were the entire job.

She brought that rigour to an industry that usually runs on craft alone, then hired artists good enough to match it. Since then she has built a premium implant-grade titanium jewellery line sourced from the US and Sweden, and opened Rebel Academy to train artists the way she would want her own trained.
