Earlobe and
stacked lobes
The one most people start with, and the fastest to heal. Stacked lobes are measured and marked with you before anything is done, so the spacing reads evenly as a set.
Helix, forward
helix and flat
The outer rim of the ear and the flat above it. Cartilage, so slower to heal than a lobe and less forgiving of being knocked or slept on. Placement is planned around how you sleep and wear your hair.
Conch, rook
and daith
The inner ear. These need the right fold to sit safely and not every ear has one. We will tell you honestly if your anatomy will not take it rather than pierce it and watch it reject.
Tragus and
industrial
The tragus is the small flap in front of the canal. An industrial is two piercings joined by one bar, so both have to line up on angles your ear actually allows. It is planned before it is pierced.

nostril and septum
Nose piercings, placed to sit with your features rather than at a standard spot. A septum goes through the soft sweet spot, not the cartilage, which is why it is far more comfortable than people expect.

Every piercing includes a basic implant-grade titanium stud, ASTM F-136, nickel-free and threadless. That is the standard we start from, not an upsell.

We stock high-end implant-grade titanium, and stones: zircon, agate, opal, crystal, cubic zirconia and more. Chosen to sit well in an ear, not just to photograph well.
Downsizing
Your first jewellery is fitted long to leave room for swelling. Once that settles it needs shortening. Lobes at 4 to 5 weeks, cartilage at 6 to 8, at a nominal charge.

Changed for you with sterile tools, and the piercing checked while you are here. Bring jewellery you bought elsewhere and we will fit it, as long as it is safe to wear.
Removal
Taking something out properly, whether it has healed, gone sore, or you have simply had enough of it. No lecture either way.

Richa, a psychology and business management graduate with 20 years of operations experience and a deep love for art, is why this studio runs the way it does.
Richa founded Rebel in 2023, one of very few woman-led tattoo and piercing studios in Gurgaon. Before Rebel she spent a decade leading HR teams, then moved into beauty and wellness, heading operations for luxury spa and salon chains in Gurgaon's five and seven star hotels, where hygiene, training, and consistency were non negotiable.
She saw the gap. Tattoo and piercing studios lacked operational rigour. Strong on craft, weak on systems. Rebel reversed that. Hygiene, sterilisation, and customer experience came first, backed by internationally trained artists. The studio launched in 2023.

Is piercing at Rebel painful?
Our internationally trained piercers use single-use surgical metal needles, never piercing guns. Most clients describe it as a quick pinch. Aftercare guidance is included with every piercing.
Do I need an appointment for piercing?
We prefer appointments, so your piercer has the time set aside for you. Earlobes, high lobes, helix, conch, tragus and basic nose piercings are welcome as walk-ins, Monday to Sunday, 1 PM to 8 PM. Advanced piercings are by appointment only, because they need planning, the right jewellery and a longer slot.
Is there a good piercing studio near me in Gurgaon?
Rebel is in Sector 67, M3M Urbana, on Golf Course Extension Road: two to eight minutes from Sectors 65 to 70 and about fifteen from Golf Course Road and DLF Phase 5. Open every day, 12 PM to 9 PM.
How long does a piercing take to heal?
Longer than most people expect, and it depends entirely on where it is. Lobes take 6 to 8 weeks. Cartilage, meaning helix, flat, conch, rook, tragus and daith, takes 6 to 12 months, with conch usually the slowest. A nostril is 4 to 6 months and a septum 6 to 8. Belly is the longest at 9 to 12 months. The outside looks healed long before the inside is, and that gap is why changing jewellery early is the most common way people set themselves back.
When do I come back to downsize?
Your first jewellery is fitted long on purpose, to leave room for swelling. Once that settles it needs shortening, or the extra length catches and drags on the channel. Lobes are usually ready at 4 to 5 weeks, cartilage at 6 to 8. We do it for you and it takes a minute. It is the step most people skip, and skipping it is what causes most bumps.
Why is there a bump next to my piercing?
Usually irritation rather than infection, and there are two common kinds. A wet bump forms when water sits on the piercing and it is not dried properly, so dry it fully front and back with a hair dryer on the cool setting. An irritation bump comes from friction: sleeping on it, catching it in your hair, snagging it on clothes. Send us a photo on WhatsApp before you do anything to it. Do not twist it, do not use tea tree oil, and do not take the jewellery out, because a channel that closes traps the problem inside.
Can I change the jewellery myself?
Not while it is healing, and wait for the timeline above rather than for it to stop hurting, because those are months apart. Come in and we will change it with sterile tools and check the piercing while you are here. Once it has healed, wear what you like, with one exception: avoid silver, which tarnishes against skin and can leave a permanent grey stain.
Can I swim or go to the gym while it heals?
Not while it is healing. Pools, the sea, rivers and hot tubs all carry bacteria a fresh channel cannot keep out, and gym sweat and shared equipment are two of the most common causes of irritation. Showering normally is fine.
Will this piercing suit my ear?
Anatomy decides that more than fashion does. A daith or a rook needs the right fold to sit safely, and not every ear has it. We will tell you honestly if a placement will not work on you rather than take the money and watch it reject.
What jewellery do you use?
Only implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136, nickel-free and threadless, imported from trusted suppliers in Sweden, the UK and the US. Every piercing includes a basic implant-grade titanium stud. We also stock high-end implant-grade titanium and stones: zircon, agate, opal, crystal and cubic zirconia. We never use mystery metals, fashion jewellery or sterling silver in a fresh piercing.
Do you offer advanced or intimate piercings?
Yes. Our lead piercer is internationally qualified for all body placements, including advanced cartilage work and intimate piercings. These are by appointment only and the appointment is private.
What piercings do you do at Rebel?
Ears: lobe, stacked lobes, helix, forward helix, flat, conch, rook, daith, tragus, industrial and transverse lobe. Nose: nostril, high nostril, septum and bridge. Face: eyebrow, lip and tongue. Do you pierce children or minors?
Yes, with a parent or guardian present and consenting. Our minimum ages, for safety, are earlobes from 5, nose from 14 and belly from 16. We don’t pierce children under 5. Little ones get a gentle, calm first-piercing experience with our internationally certified piercer.
How do I look after a new piercing?
Spray wound-wash saline front and back, or let clean water run over it in the shower, then dry it completely with a hair dryer on the cool setting. Don’t rotate or play with the jewellery. Light redness, swelling and a little crust are normal early on. Avoid swimming for the whole healing period, and skip alcohol, peroxide and antibacterial soaps. Is a piercing gun the same as a needle?
No, and the difference matters. A gun pushes blunt jewellery through the tissue by force. A needle removes a clean channel, so there is less trauma and the piercing settles faster. A gun also cannot be properly sterilised, and it physically fits only a narrow set of placements, which is why gun piercings often sit at the wrong spot or angle for that particular ear. Every piercing at Rebel is done with a sterile single-use surgical needle, opened in front of you, by a piercer who reads your anatomy before deciding where it goes. A fair share of our work is correcting piercings done elsewhere.
Can I get the same piercing at a jewellery counter?
It is not the same job. A trained piercer assesses your anatomy first, chooses the placement and angle that will heal, fits the first jewellery long to leave room for swelling, brings you back to downsize, and teaches you how to look after it. That sequence is what decides whether a piercing heals cleanly or gives you trouble months later. It is the reason a dedicated piercing studio exists.
