Tattoo Academy FAQs
Do I need prior art experience?
A genuine love for art and the discipline to commit to three or six months matter more than a formal background. We assess fit during the application call and trial day.
How much does the course cost?
Course investment is discussed during your discovery call, once we've understood your goals and assessed fit. The six-month Advanced includes all practice supplies, your tattoo machine, guest masterclasses, live observation, business training, and a certificate — designed to cost less than buying everything separately while learning alone.
What's the difference between Foundation and Advanced?
Foundation is three months and covers the fundamentals: hygiene, machine handling, linework, shading, design. Advanced is six months and adds advanced colour, realism, cover-ups, live model work, guest masterclasses, business and career-readiness training, and a tattoo machine. Top performers from each Advanced cohort are offered a paid internship at Rebel.
Who teaches at Rebel Academy?
You learn from working tattoo artists, not full-time teachers. Our mentors have trained with international masters, competed at top tattoo conventions across India, and produced award-winning work you can see on this page. Plus rotating guest masterclasses with the best in the business every cohort.
What if I'm not from Gurgaon?
Many of our students travel in from across Delhi NCR — Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad — and from outside the region. We can guide you on accommodation near the Sector 67 studio. Apply, and we'll discuss logistics during the call.
