Do I need prior art experience?
Yes, some bend towards art is essential. Foundation applicants should already sketch, draw or paint as a serious hobby. Please bring 5–8 samples of your work to the orientation call. We're looking for direction and hunger, not a finished portfolio.
How much does the course cost?
We keep one transparent, all-inclusive fee: machines, inks, practice skins and your certificate are all included, with no hidden add-ons. Part-payment options are available. The exact number is discussed on your orientation call, once we've understood your goals and matched you to the right course. The six-month Advanced also includes guest masterclasses, live observation, design and digital craft, and communication training.
What's the difference between Foundation and Advanced?
Foundation is three months and covers the fundamentals: hygiene, machine handling, linework, shading, design. Advanced is six months and adds advanced techniques, colour, realism, cover-ups, live model work, guest masterclasses, design and digital craft, communication and client skills. Top performers from each Advanced cohort are offered a paid internship at Rebel.
Who teaches at Rebel Academy?
You learn from experienced in-house tattoo trainers and rotating guest trainers from the Indian tattoo circuit. Not classroom instructors. Our trainers compete at top tattoo conventions across India and produce award-winning work you can see on this page.
What if I'm not from Gurgaon?
Many of our students travel in from across Delhi NCR, including Delhi, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad, and some from outside the region. We can guide you on accommodation near the Sector 67 studio. Apply, and we'll discuss logistics during the call.
When does the next batch start?
We open new batches when serious applications come in, typically every few months. The fastest way to know the next start date is to apply or message us on WhatsApp.
Is this a certified tattoo course?
Yes. Every graduate earns the Rebel Academy Certificate of Completion, signed by the studio. It's a studio certificate, not a government qualification, but it's backed by real outcomes: top students earn a guaranteed paid internship, a place on Rebel's payroll, or a referral into our studio network across India.
How do I become a tattoo artist in Delhi NCR?
Train on a structured course inside a real working studio, not a classroom. Rebel Academy's three-month Foundation and six-month Advanced tattoo courses in Gurgaon take you from your first line to working on real clients, with a paid-internship pathway for top performers. You must be 18 or older to enrol. Apply and we'll guide you from there.
